|
 |
|
How to find out if your Electrician is
licensed
|
"The
Texas Department of
Licensing and Regulation is the state's umbrella occupational
regulatory agency, responsible for the regulation of 29 occupations
and industries. The regulated industries are diverse, ranging from
boxing to electricians, from elevators to auctioneers."*
All
licensed electricians within the State of Texas are licensed through
this agency, and this agency alone. Types of Electrician licenses
are:
| Business Licenses |

It is important to ask whomever
you are thinking of hiring if they are "LICENSED TO PERFORM" all the
tasks within the job you need done. Each license is different and just
because an Electrician has a license, does not mean they are
automatically licensed to do any and everything.
