Imagine the knots as the circuit breakers. Each knot must be capable of holding the weight dangling below.  Take a look at the knots below and think about how they apply to our scenario.

Obviously, the large knot will hold the 100 pound child. The medium would hold the 40 pound child. And finally, the small knot would hold a 30 pound child.

Now that you see how the knots work together with the rope and pullbar, let's talk about the seat each child will sit in. The seat is actually your light switch, outlet, etc.
"Let's see—that extension cord goes to? Hmm...I wonder why it's arcing? LOL."

Thought needs to be given to the how thick each piece of wood needs to be to adequately hold each child. Some outlets need to be able to handle more voltage, so deciding on whether you need a 15 or 20 amp outlet. It would probably be wise to contact a licensed Electrician at this point.

It is a good idea NOT TO USE 15 amp breakers with 20 amp outlets. 20 Amp outlets look different than 15 amp outlets, and use of a 20 amp outlet indicates to future users that there are 20 amps of power available.
